Banchory Local Place Plan Consultation
Following extensive consultation during 2024, Banchory Community Council has now completed a draft Local Place Plan (LPP).
An LPP determines what people want for their community and where they want it. It helps communities to think about how to make their place better, agree priorities and take action. It can also support funding applications for community-led projects, and is an official document which local planning authorities, in this case Aberdeenshire Council, must take into consideration in preparing the next Local Development Plan.
This is your chance to have your say on the future of our town – the draft LPP is now open for consultation until Tuesday 4 February 2025.
Please send any comments you have to banchorylpp@gmail.com before Feb 4th. These will be taken into account in the final version of the LPP.
