Proposed Retail Development Hill of Banchory East

We have received notice of a proposal from Banchory Estates Ltd for a "major retail led development with drive thru café, car park with additional EV charging hub, landscaping and associated engineering works" on land behind Tesco.

A public exhibition on the proposals will take place from 3-7pm on Monday 7 November at the Banchory Business Centre, Burn O'Bennie Rd, Banchory, AB31 5ZU.

Again, this proposal is not yet at the Planning Application stage and the current consultation is being run by the developer.

For the avoidance of any confusion, Banchory Estates Ltd own the land, and the company is not related to the Leys Estate.

Comments on the proposed development will be accepted by the developer until Friday 18 November 2022.
